Must do for Marley fans
Must do activity when in Jamaica especially if you love Bob Marley and his music. Long and winding route to Nine Mile - suggest travel sickness pills before heading up there if anyone prone to this. We had Jermaine as our guide (our second trip with him) - as before a really friendly and knowledgeable guide, who looked after us and made additional stops for supplies etc.. There is a shack with Rastas at the entrance to the compound - for herbal supplies if that’s your thing - overpriced goods and a bit seedy. Lots of gift shops inside - hovering and browsing in these is encouraged whist waiting! The tour was done by Captain Crazy - one of Bob’s (probably many?!) cousins. His mad laugh was part of the show, but very entertaining. Very interesting to see evidence Bob’s simple upbringing and accommodation. Expect a few songs from a band inside (tips expected) - great music to be fair and got us dancing. Bob’s mausoleum was at the end of the roughly 45 min tour. Glad to have seen it. Tips again expected at the end. Worth the trip if you’re a fan!

We went to Blue Hole with Ultimate Excursions. They used Island Gully Falls for their guide. I emailed Island Gully with questions and they were responsive and helpful. Upon arrival, we were paired with Bob and a photographer. Both delivered a warm and fun experience. I felt my children and I were safe and they had our safety top of mind. They helped us have an amazing time and it was beautiful. I have visited many waterfalls but this experience was my favorite. It was not crowded and could enjoy the peace.

Our driver was the best, he stopped for us to use restroom and souvenir shopping! Our only complaint was after our experience we were cornered into purchasing items from vendors set up at the Blue hole. The prices they told us would change considerably. We paid for pictures bought some drinks and souvenirs snd they still wanted more money. This experience could end future tourists front visiting.

This is actually a full day excursion, depending on your location and travel time. Though, our transportation guide, Dawain, from Best of Jamaica Adventures was the absolute best and made the experience even greater. Such a kind spirit. Refreshments were provided and he worked with us to accommodate every need. The excursions speak for themselves and were amazing at the least. It was worth every dollar. We would definitely do this again and look forward to working with these guys again on our next visit to the island!

We had a great time at the Blue Hole. Indiana was our driver she was friendly and knowledgeable about Jamaica. She got us safely to our location and on time. We met Dawson at the Blue Hole who was our guide. He was a lot of fun and very helpful with us. The place was amazing, a must see. I would highly recommend taking the blue hole tour with this company!

My family and I had a wonderful time on this day tour. We enjoyed everything from the drive to the location and the tour of Bob Marley'e Mausoleum. Jamaica is such a beautiful country. It was a pleasure to be able to leave the hotel and see more of the island. Shout out to our driver, Mr. Kenny. He was very friendly and made the kids laugh.

Who knew Bamboo rafting was such a sport! I enjoyed every moment of it and the Jamaican men are something else especially their banter lol. The calmness of the river and nature, fresh jelly coconuts and fruits ( P.S Jamaican fruits are ten times better than American) and the almost euphoric body and foot massage, babyyy they had me. However, what made this trip considerably better was our tour guide Toya, she made sure we were okay every step of the way and knew how to appease her clients which was absolutely rewarding. I highly recommended her, book now! you’ll thank me later. Toya Majestic Tours !! 🗣️ woooooo

For Christmas, I booked through my travel agents website that led to Coreys tours and a couple other excursion companies - I wish I knew about Coreys Tours so I could have booked ALL of my excursions with him! He was amazing! He told us about the surrounding areas, holiday customs, and we loved hearing about his travels around the world! We loved his vehicle, it was super clean and sleek (Wish we could have one). When Corey picked us up from the resort he gave us a run down of our route and what to expect when we arrived at the luminous lagoon. It gave us a piece of mind because it was our first time leaving the resort at night - we felt completely safe and felt like we were hanging out with a friend. My favorite part about Coreys Tours is that he's a small business own and operated by Corey and his wife so you know everything is going to them versus a small cut of the cost. I can't wait to return to Jamaica, I plan to use Corey for all of our future needs!
