Montego Bay Snorkeling

After researching several Charters we settled on Gypsy Sails due to the excellent communication, affordability for services offered and online reviews….and boy did they deliver! Just like in every other review we too had an incredible experience. The crew was very welcoming, friendly, talkative, and knowledgeable, The boat is extremely comfortable and the Captain had charted a beautiful cruise and tour of the harbor front. The snorkelling was beautiful, in crystal clear, calm waters, And the provided lunch and drinks were delicious and filling. We were a combined family of 16 ranging from 80 to 9 years old, and everyone felt comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Highly recommend!

If you're looking for an amazing catamaran experience, Gypsy Sails is the way to go! The crew was incredibly friendly, fun, and professional, making sure everyone felt welcome and had a blast. Went zip-lining for the first time and it was amazing. My guides were CJ and John. They made it a rememberable experience. Only wished the experience lasted longer.

Our family loved this excursion. Our family ranged from 7-37 years old and no one had any issues with the different activities. The lunch they served was delicious (jerk chicken, bread fruit, and rice). There are lockers available to store things and bathrooms to use. To help your expectations, let me make you aware of a couple of things. 1) Horseback riding: if you are an experienced rider, be aware that you are not traveling too far on horses. You stay in a line and you take a 20-30 minute ride. It might not be as enjoyable if you are an experienced rider. 2) Riding the horse in the ocean is a quick ride, so don't expect to be out there too long. 3) The Zipline was not as long as I thought it would be. And if you are with a large group, once you start, you don't ever meet up again until the end. The first person keeps going and they do not wait for the whole group to get to the next zipline. Of course the workers are there helping each person. 4) The horses, ziplining, and catamaran are all operated by different people at Chukka...so they all expect tips in each section (I was not anticipating that portion, so be prepared). Overall, if you have a family in a wide range like ours, or younger children, each activity was perfect for them and enjoyable. Our family had a blast on the catamaran. The staff was super friendly and they did a great job assisting. I really appreciated Anthony for helping and comforting my 7 year old daughter when she was nervous on the horse. Nazair, Romaine, Cobie, and Max did great and were encouraging to all on the Zipline. Narissa kept our group on task and she was friendly, funny, and a great host. We recommend this excursion if you are a family, or if you are a NEW to any of these activities. You will enjoy your time!

The boat was nice & the crew was amazing! I would definitely book again & recommend to anyone needing private charter for their Jamaican fun!

We had the best time on Gypsy Sails! We went with our 5 kids (15 yrs to 6 months) and it was the perfect activity for all ages. Andy was a wonderful guide for an hour long snorkel session and Captain Peter was great in leading us around. The boat is spacious and in great condition. Highly recommend!

My friend and I decided to do this activity and it was great! We had Kemar as our driver & he was cool. Let us listen to music, made sure we were good and even let us stop to get a pattie! The excursion itself was also very fun and the tour guides had great energy. Highly Recommend!

This excursion was EVERYTHING. Our group had so much fun. It started with our courteous driver Kamar who called the night before with our instructions and answered all of my questions. He was prompt and on time picking us up. He was very hands on in making sure that we were taken care of and situated. We loved our excursions which was the horseback ride/swim, at, and the party catamaran. The drinks at this spot were very good too. Especially that Bob Marley drink. And the rum punch on the catamaran was perfect. Kamara even took us to KFC when we asked. We definitely recommend this excursion for EVERYONE!!. Thanks Kamar

Our private catamaran cruise with Gypsy Sails was the highlight of our MB trip!! Stacey was so responsive from the booking to the excursion, even being flexible with the timing of the cruise to accommodate for the weather forecast. It was a birthday celebration and the whole crew went above and beyond with balloons and cake :) No better way to spend the day than cruising around the island sipping on tipsy gypsies, dancing in the sun, and jumping in the water! I would absolutely book this trip again.

My very first time on a Catamaran and it was an amazing experience! The owner and her crew were soooooo friendly and engaging with us and very knowledgeable as well. I'd never been snorkeling either and that made me feel like a kid again it was so much fun.

We celebrated one of our friends' birthday in Jamaica and took the Gypsy Sails excursion and we had a great time. I would recommend everyone to sign up for this excursion.

Highlight of our trip to Montego Bay. Very nice catamaran, great food, and great views. We were able to watch the sunset which was unbelievable. The crew was so accommodating and made sure we had a great time. Would definitely do this again.

The tour we took was simply wonderful! My husband, our two kids (ages 8mo and 4yo) and I took this tour on our first trip to Jamaica. We hopped aboard and were greeted by the friendly crew and got to know them a little lit before leaving. To my daughter and husband’s delight, there was a welcome plate of fruits and drinks (they love mangoes!). The catamaran was very prepared for everything you could ask for, whether a chill cruise time or a party scene.The catamaran sailed around showing us parts of the beautiful coast, Bird Island, a floating restaurant, and eventually a snorkeling place. During the tour, our daughter LOVED to sit up at the front and have her own little dance party and look at the waves or walk to the back where she was gobbling down all the mangos like a fruit pirate.I thought it was a great balance after some long days at the resort, to get out and explore with the family. The crew were very respectful and friendly. They even fielded all my daughter’s questions about everything she could think of without fail.Such a great time!
