Leon and Nigel shared fantastic stories and experiences on the way to Floyd’s Pelican Bar. On the way there, the devastation from the hurricane the year before was still overwhelming — but how amazing was it to make it out to the sandbar and be in a restaurant that was almost like a metaphor for Jamaica?! They’re rebuilding their home, and keeping it as special as it was before. (See if you can find our carving, and you should absolutely do your own.) Also, the food is so delicious!It was a truly unique experience, and they’ve aptly named their touring agency. We highly recommend their services.

Went to Pelican Bar on the recommendation of our driver Nigel. Leon and Nigel made the experience incredible. The boat ride to the bar was really cool. The food at the Pelican Bar was so delicious! We had a great time, and our drivers spent a lot of time with us and made sure we enjoyed everything.

Kyle was a wonderful tour guide . He was professional , timely, and very friendly . I traveled as a single woman with children and he made us feel safe at all times . Kevin Wright at world’s richest photographer LLC was amazing. I did a 50th flying dress birthday shoot with him. It was a great experience he was gentle and patient. He sent me a sneak peak right after and the picture were amazing without the edits.

We booked Kevin and crew for our wedding photos, a flying dress shoot and a full day tour; all for a very reasonable price. He took photos throughout the excursions and really took the pressure off of us worrying about "capturing the moment" ourselves while we were out enjoying Jamaica. Kevin really is a golden soul as well as having an exceptional eye for his craft. Professional, punctual and a pleasant man to be around. Represents the people of Jamaica well and would definitely recommend and use his services again.

Leon was very cool and educated on his surroundings of montego bay. He gracefully explained the areas, took us into the congested marketplace where we were able to actually experience how the people go about their shopping on a Saturday. It was fun to see and experience.He took us to a Jamaican kfc that everyone was raving about and we waited on line for 1 hour. It was not worth thr wait lol, but leon gracefully waited and continued with the site seeing. We stopped at a juicy patty (fantastic you gotta try the beef with cheese). He pulled over several times got out the car and handed us Akee from the tree, castor oil seeds, mango leaf and explained how its medicinal and can be used. Its winter so not to many fruits were at their peak. We didn't stop off at too many places because we just was going with the flow, but i know he would have if we would have asked. Very humble, nice, curtious person and i would recommend him to anyone.If he doesn't take you to places you wanted to see, its because you didnt bring the man an itinerary. But if you just wana see the country sides of Montego bay and learn the who what where when and whys, Just sit back and chill. Thanks for the experience -Gerard

The ambience was relaxing and exhilarating on the Caribbean sea. The ocean breeze was breathtaking.

I had a great experience the photographer is very caring and professional. The photographer and his team worked very hard to get the best shots.

Leon took very good care of us the whole week in Jamaica. Excellent driver but scared me a few times! Lol Loved that Leon always let us experience the off the beaten path of Jamaica and hang out with the locals. South Coast is very beautiful and plenty of seafood restaurants. Pelican Bar was ok. Would I go back there again NO. FYI they only except cash and definitely get the prices of their food if you don't want to be scammed out of your money. Trust me the 3 of us ended up paying $25 a piece for ONE ORDER OF WINGS & FRIED SHRIMP which is $25 for ONE ORDER not $25 / person because my friends shared with me ! STRAIGHT CROOKS!!!!!! But besides that enjoyed the day and just chuck the lost as an experience & lesson learned.

I planned a spring break trip in Montego Bay that happily coincided with my Jamaican mom's 70 something birthday. Appleton Estates has been on our bucket list for some time, but we were a little nervous to book the long ride. In addition to my mom we traveled as a large group with 3 kids under 6 so I needed to be sure that any driver or tour we scheduled was going to be prompt and cautious with such a wide range of ages. I am so grateful that I found Leon on Cool Montego Bay. He was engaging, knew everything about the towns we went through, pointed out historic buildings and plots of land, his vehicle was comfortable and super clean, and he was so very caring about everyone in our party.The roads to Appleton and YS Falls take you on country roads over the mountains, so you really need to go with an expert who drives those roads, and knows the people and the towns. Additionally, two of the children were not accustomed to mountain roads and got sick with motion sickness. Leon pulled over mulitple times and waited patiently, so that they could be cleaned up, and stopped again when we reached a town so that he could purchase non alcoholic ginger beer for their tummies, We did not ask him to do this, he did it on his own accord and we so appreciated how caring he is. I can't imagine taking that trip with anyone else at the wheel. Anyway - the kids rallied like nothing ever happened and had a great time tasting cane juice, seeing the donkey, and having lunch at Appleton. The adults loved learning about the rum process, the history of the brands, and the tastings. Then we went to YS Falls and enjoyed the cool water. Special thanks to Leon's sister who came along and helped us watch the kids at both places. We are grateful that she was in town! Leon even suprised my mom the next day with a birthday present of Jamaican apples because she had mentioned loving them.Honestly, you can not find a more experienced driver and kinder host to take you around Jamaica. When we return we will use Jamaica Experience Tours exclusively.
