Montego Bay Eco Tours

We stayed alive with Clive!! An absolute legend. Navigated the journey safely with the patience of a saint (I don’t think I’d want to drive these roads). Built a great rapport with and among the group. Very knowledgeable on the outbound journey and let us all chill with a movie (had to be cool runnings) and Bob Marly documentary and latest movie coming back. I will be back to survive with Clive again. One Love

Good time, nice water and our guide was fun and very informative. This place is back in the hills a bit, out of ocho rios. We spent about two hours there and it was $10US. We would do it again.

Our tour guide was Omar, and he was absolutely amazing. He showed up on time, and had great conversation the whole ride to and from. My friends and I mentioned amongst ourselves that we were hungry, not even 10 minutes later Omar stopped us by a fruit stand. We went shopping at great places, where Omar helped my friends and understand the currency better. After our Blue Hole experience, which was amazing. Omar took us to a popular food bar, and it was the best food I’ve eaten in Jamaica. Anywhere we wanted to stop and take pictures Omar was more than happy to do so. He also took us to get our COVID test at a cheaper location, because the only ones us ladies could find were costly. Overall I enjoyed my day with Omar, please ask to book with him and you won’t regret it.

Fitness club was excellent and trainers senator, jovanne and spade 45 were excellent .spin bike, a great experience

This was a very great for us. The driver was on time and it cost us way less than what we would pay other companies. The blue hole was amazing and I would recommend doing this tour.

This was the first time we booked our excursion from home through Cool Montego Bay. We would usually book our excursion at the resort. Let me start by saying I will always be booking from now on through Cool Montego Bay. We had a driver "Jeremy" pick us up on time at our resort. There was only us plus another couple in the vehicle. No other pick-ups at other resorts. Jeremy explain the history of the Island and show us things on the way. We arrived and Neal was our guide, our picture taker, etc. Neal did an awesome job with us. Thank you so much Neal for making this a great day. Once we were done at Blue Hole we went to Scotties for some real Jerk Chicken. Then we were off to a little shopping store. Would definite recommend this tour. No crowds, no line ups, no pick ups alone the way.

This excursion was amazing love it had such a great time, way better then dunns river the driver was great so was the tour guide the jumps are awesome but you dont have to jump in if you dont want to. You will need to do a little hiking to get to the falls but it really isnt bad they have made some pretty clear walk ways

This place was amazing, the crew was wonderful and made this vacation absolutely perfect. Would recommend this to anyone. Cant wait to come back again.

The Blue Hole and Secret Falls hike was AMAZING! I highly recommend! Bring water shoes and I'd highly recommend bringing a GoPro or fully waterproof camera since the only bummer was that each photo that their photographer took was $20, and honestly I didn't feel like they were that good. We had our own private lifeguard to help navigate slippery steps and guide the way up the falls. The tallest jump was 17 feet but there was always an option to walk down if you didn't want to jump. If you're deciding to do this or Dunn's River falls, PICK THIS! I've done both and this was WAY cooler and a lot less busy. Side note: life jackets are also available if people aren't strong swimmers.

Blue hole is gorgeous! It was a LONG bus ride from our hotel (grand palladium in Lucea). With traffic and the other hotel pick ups, it took us 4 1/2 hours to get to Blue Hole. We spent 1 1/2 hours at Blue Hole and it was a lot of fun jumping and swimming. You have to be a strong swimmer as your guide doesn't pay much attention to the group - get a life vest if you're not a strong swimmer. Between the waterfall currents and being stuck wading in deep water while waiting to climb out of rocks - I would have been a wreck if I had younger children. They're pretty casual about letting one group jump off rocks above you as your group is below. It feels like every man for himself - so just be smart about it. The shopping was a bit disappointing - our bus driver took us to an Indian mall. I was expecting more of a 'straw market' type atmosphere with handmade stuff - but we didn't have time to stop there after the mall. Was a bit disappointed that the lunch option was at a small/understaffed little place and we were given few lunch options. Had to ask for drinks/condiments/utensils. Food wasn't great. Our bus driver/tour guide - Marlon - was superb. He made the best out of a ridiculously long bus ride by educating us on the country and keeping us laughing. I don't think I would opt for this tour again only because it was an 11 hour day with about 7 of those hours in a bus. Like I said, Blue Hole was awesome to experience but I'd find a faster way to get there from Montego Bay.

I have travel with my family and it was excellent and best value for money. Kids loved this place like best in Jamaica. Highly recommend!!

Off the beaten path, beautiful unspoiled property. Friendly staff. Courtney was the best guide ever , ask for him when you visit. Be sure to wear reef safe sunblock ! Wear water shoes and take what you brought in back with you. Support the locals the have water, sugar cane and a red stripe .

My partner and I went on this trip, read some good reviews and he loves an adrenaline rush (plus, new GoPro toy he wanted to play with). Marlon the driver & guide was absolutely brilliant. Had all passengers laughing and getting involved in his trivia quizzes etc. No one on the bus went unnoticed.Half of our trip went to Dunn’s, the other blue hole. Blue hole was fantastic. It’s so beautiful there, the people are lovely too the show you round, take your pics etc. It’s a lot of fun and I’d go again. Be prepared though- if heights aren’t your thing or you aren’t a strong swimmer then you may struggle at points. Wear good shoes, not the water footwear you can buy. A pair of old trainers are perfect.The only downfall were the photographs. There were 4 couples in total in our group and at the end you’re shown all of the pics and you get to decide which package you want- 1 photo for 20usd or the full disk of everyone’s for 40usd. We weren’t that fussed, we had taken lots of footage anyway. As we were about to walk away, apparently one of the members of the group had made a deal of having 4 disks for 20usd each rather than 40Usd each. We felt a little railroaded into purchasing it so be careful.

Our driver Marlon was great, On our ride from Montego Bay to Ocho Rios he was a combination driver and tour guide. While we were all at the Blue Hole and Secret Falls, he stayed at the vehicle to safeguard our belongings. Our guides Tyrone and Akeem were also excellent making sure everyone was safe on the trails and slippery rocks. My only disappointment with this excursion was that it did not go to Scotchies as it stated in the description of the tour. We went to a restaurant called Tracks and Records which is affiliated with Usain Bolt, either through ownership or licensing. The only reason we chose this excursion over the many other tour companies that go to the Blue Hole was because it specifically listed Scotchies as the lunch stop. Cool Montego Bay should remove Scotchies from the description otherwise it borders on false advertising. Unfortunately, this was our last full day on the Island, so we never got to check out this world famous spot.

Blue hole and secret falls are in the same location but walking distance apart. Two separate jumps which was fun. The shopping was just a store next to the restaurant.

This was a great day trip! The waterfall was not over crowded with tourist and we got to swim in the Blue Hole by ourselves for at least a half hour before we decided to climb the falls.
