The boat Captain was funny and informative!! He told us every detail to expect in a funny and entertaining way!! It was a very cool experience in brackish water!! We experienced the glowing in the water just like the pictures on the internet! Great experience!! Even before the boat there was a fun vibe at the waiting area, where you could have food with your complimentary drink. There were a lot of passengers that went out and the staff were all friendly, polite and professional!!

We had an amazing time on this trip, Damion was our driver and got us everywhere we needed to go safely. Mayfield Falls was incredible, Dave was so good with our kids (10 and 7), our daughter who is normally very shy was so comfortable with Dave assisting her through the water, this meant to most to me just to see the pure enjoyment on her face. Mayfield Falls was amazing! Be prepared to be wet and adventurous. If you have your own water shoes, that’s the way to go, but if not, no worries they have them for rent. Andrey our falls guy was also wonderful. Damien was a fantastic driver/ guide. After the falls we did quick trips to the blue hole and Ricks, but the highlight was for sure the falls. Definitely recommend!

Our bamboo river rafting experience in Montego Bay, Jamaica was absolutely AWESOME! We didn’t really know what to expect but we knew we couldn’t leave the island without doing it! They took us to a raft that said Happy Birthday. I don’t know how they knew it was my guy’s bday. Maybe our awesome driver Akeem told them! The setting was a cool, flowing river….as expected….not too overwhelming though! We were surrounded by lush greenery, bamboo trees and the sounds of nature and music all around (we were asked if we had a music choice….they cater to YOU!).Gliding down the river on a hand-crafted bamboo raft drinking water out of a coconut was so relaxing and unique. Our guide Joe was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience a memorable one.The best part? It wasn’t just beautiful, it was fun! We even got a refreshing limestone foot massage along the way! Such a cool touch and something I’ve never experienced before. Joe massage my legs and feet and write a sweet I LOVE JAMAICA message once done. Of course they had the women on hand for the fellas!If you’re visiting Jamaica, this is an absolute MUST-DO. It’s the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation, and a wonderful way to see the island’s natural beauty up close. Our driver Colby made our trip the best!
This trip was outstanding!. Our driver (Colby Johnson) called me and verified his arrival time to pick us up at our Iberostar Beach hotel. We chose the late trip starting at 12pm, and I am so glad we chose that time! My family was the only ones on this trip. Colby narrated to us in his comfy van about all the key sights on our drive. He pulled over to show us look-out points, talked to us about the island people, size, culture, showed us an Ackee tree and told us about Jamaican food. He even stopped by Starbucks as a special request from my daughter. Right before we got to the falls he took us to a store where we could buy some $10 water shoes to use at the falls. The falls were so great. Just the four of us plus a guide and a photographer. We started from the beach and climbed to the top of the falls through the water. The photographer took videos and photos of us the entire way up and our guide used our own cell phone that we carried in a waterproof case to also take photos. We ended buying the photographer’s photos since they were so good. He downloaded every photo he took to our cell phones for $40. I was glad our driver warned us about not accepting “gifts” from the local peddlers on the way back to the car, since we were approached by many trying to use that selling tactic. Next, Colby took us to a wonderful dinner at a local jerk restaurant and we had chicken, fried dumplings and a fried bread called “festivals”. Finally, we went to the luminous lagoon where we boarded the boat and played in the glowing water. My cell phone could not capture a good photo in the dark, but at least the photo I am attaching shows the beautiful blue glow of the water when you move it. The entire day was magical! Not only that, but Colby also told us about local horseback riding (half the cost of advertised tours) and diving sites and best shopping sites. He arranged our transportation for many of our other activities for our vacation. We had a really super fun holiday!

The best experience ever.
This was by far the best experience on my trip. I will always remember the colorful beautifully decorated rafts, and the pleasant, kind, friendly raft. Captain and masseur. Went with my daughter on one of the most scenic journeys to get to the river. Crystal clear water full of minerals from the limestone they use for your massage. We were pampered and well taken care of and we had so much fun swimming and playing after our scrub which was both a scrub and massage. My skin felt like silk. Can't wait to do it again. The restaurant there has a great vibe and good food. I had escovich fish and rice and peas. Was the best food I had had in Jamaica thus far on my trip. We danced while we ate to the reggae music. Nothing fancy but was an enjoyable authentically jamaican experience you should not miss. We didn't go on a group tour. We had a private contact who hooked us up with our raft captain at the river.

We stayed at the RIU Aquarelle for a girls trip and Marlon was able to accommodate ALL of our needs for the 3 days we were there. There was 8 of us and he was kind and patient to everyone. He took us everywhere we requested and made sure we arrived and returned safely. He even stayed with us so we felt comfortable and safe. We won’t use anyone else for our Jamaica trips!
