Must do activity when in Jamaica especially if you love Bob Marley and his music. Long and winding route to Nine Mile - suggest travel sickness pills before heading up there if anyone prone to this. We had Jermaine as our guide (our second trip with him) - as before a really friendly and knowledgeable guide, who looked after us and made additional stops for supplies etc.. There is a shack with Rastas at the entrance to the compound - for herbal supplies if that’s your thing - overpriced goods and a bit seedy. Lots of gift shops inside - hovering and browsing in these is encouraged whist waiting! The tour was done by Captain Crazy - one of Bob’s (probably many?!) cousins. His mad laugh was part of the show, but very entertaining. Very interesting to see evidence Bob’s simple upbringing and accommodation. Expect a few songs from a band inside (tips expected) - great music to be fair and got us dancing. Bob’s mausoleum was at the end of the roughly 45 min tour. Glad to have seen it. Tips again expected at the end. Worth the trip if you’re a fan!

We were on a Royal Caribbean cruise to Falmouth, Jamaica and booked this tour with Cool Montego Bay. They were very communicative about where to meet. Unfortunately and fortunately, there weren’t enough people so we opted to pay more for a private tour with them. Copely was our driver and tour guide. He picked us up in a clean, comfortable tour van. Copely is a native Jamaican and he was absolutely wonderful. We had great conversations for the few hours we drove to St. Ann’s and back. If you love Bob Marley, you take this tour. We got to see his childhood home and his mausoleum which is on the property. On the way back we stopped at a restaurant for some authentic curried goat and jerk chicken of course. We also tried some fruit cake. Great guide, great tour!

We not only covered the usual spots like Ricks , the beach and local shopping area, we visited the area east of Negril to see the local neighborhoods that the workers who make things happen at the resorts reside in. Akeem was simply AMAZING! He went above and beyond with providing customer service....exceptional!!!! He pointed out landmarks and was very knowledgeable about the different parishes. The drive was smooth and easy. The visit to 9 mile was top tier. Just seeing where Bob Marley was born and seeing the dolls, family portraits and the history of ONE LOVE is unparalleled. Unfortunately it rained and prevented us from completing our visit to blue hole as the water was murky. We stopped for food at Miss T's and check the pictures you can see the food not only looked good but tasted way better!!! He also took us through the neighborhood and showed us the sunset from top of the mountain. Book book book this trip and you will not be disappointed. He also provides tours to many other well know tours so reach out to him NOWWWWWWW!
