My son and I really enjoyed Martha Brae. Surprisingly, he enjoyed it even more than I expected. Since we did it on his 17th birthday, I worried it might not feel exciting enough — but he thought it was “cool” and a perfect wrap‑up to our culture‑based Jamaican trip. Leon was professional, easy to be around, and clearly takes pride in what he does. His vehicle was well maintained, he kept us comfortable the entire time, and he even shared some meaningful birthday wisdom with my son. He’s the type of business owner you stay connected with. If you plan on visiting Jamaica again, Leon is absolutely someone you’d want driving you — safe, reliable, and genuinely invested in making sure you enjoy the island. All in all, Martha Brae was a good experience, especially if you’re looking for a more "laid‑back" rafting vibe and a less time/energy consuming day trip.

Must do activity when in Jamaica especially if you love Bob Marley and his music. Long and winding route to Nine Mile - suggest travel sickness pills before heading up there if anyone prone to this. We had Jermaine as our guide (our second trip with him) - as before a really friendly and knowledgeable guide, who looked after us and made additional stops for supplies etc.. There is a shack with Rastas at the entrance to the compound - for herbal supplies if that’s your thing - overpriced goods and a bit seedy. Lots of gift shops inside - hovering and browsing in these is encouraged whist waiting! The tour was done by Captain Crazy - one of Bob’s (probably many?!) cousins. His mad laugh was part of the show, but very entertaining. Very interesting to see evidence Bob’s simple upbringing and accommodation. Expect a few songs from a band inside (tips expected) - great music to be fair and got us dancing. Bob’s mausoleum was at the end of the roughly 45 min tour. Glad to have seen it. Tips again expected at the end. Worth the trip if you’re a fan!

We were on a Royal Caribbean cruise to Falmouth, Jamaica and booked this tour with Cool Montego Bay. They were very communicative about where to meet. Unfortunately and fortunately, there weren’t enough people so we opted to pay more for a private tour with them. Copely was our driver and tour guide. He picked us up in a clean, comfortable tour van. Copely is a native Jamaican and he was absolutely wonderful. We had great conversations for the few hours we drove to St. Ann’s and back. If you love Bob Marley, you take this tour. We got to see his childhood home and his mausoleum which is on the property. On the way back we stopped at a restaurant for some authentic curried goat and jerk chicken of course. We also tried some fruit cake. Great guide, great tour!

King was an awesome ATV tour guide from the very start. He was super friendly and made check-in quick and easy. After giving us the safety instructions, he realized we had ridden ATVs before and adjusted the pace so we didn’t have to go overly slow, which we really appreciated.The views he took us to were incredible and made the whole adventure completely worth it. About halfway through we took a break, and he gave us great recommendations for restaurants and other places to check out, which was a nice bonus.Overall, King made the experience fun, smooth, and memorable. I’d definitely recommend booking a tour with him if you get the chance.

Fun for Kids!
We had a great time with our 3 teen kids, exploring some Jamaican water activities. Travis, our excellent guide picked us up at our condo in a private 6 seater car that was modern and comfortable, and drove us around to the activities while sharing some personal insights into Jamaica, its people and culture. It really felt like having a friend's friend helping us out while in town. The rafting has a captain take you up river on a bamboo raft and then you float back down. It's not strenuous or containing rapids, just kind of a leisurely float, and probably the least exiting part of the trip. Next, we went to the Blue Hole where to nice young men guided us on where to get in to swim, jump, and try a rope swing while they took our camera and acted as our personal camera man. Water is not warm, but by no means uncomfortable. Wear water shoes for comfort. Your time here is limited to an hour, but that's enough to do the highlights. If you stay closer, a separate trip may be worth looking into (but not for us as we stayed in MoBay). Last, you drive to Dunns River Falls. Here you are on your own climbing and exploring the falls. It's a fun experience to climb up a water fall and find your path, suitable for kids 8 and up, and adults who don't have balance issues (although I saw parents carry way younger kids, so it's all doable). I've done this before with a tour that made participants form a long chain holding hands. I much prefer to go on my own. Then we drove back and picked up some jerk chicken for dinner to go. It was a fun day! I think the best thing about this company is that this is a completely private tour that caters to your group and needs - something I didn't realize when I booked. Travis was awesome! Only regret is not booking sooner.
